The Challenge

Legacy system unequipped for demand shifts

After years of success with Infios Warehouse Management, Hawesko’s fulfillment network was pushed to its limits as pandemic-driven e-commerce demand surged.

Need for scalable, high-volume e-commerce processing

To handle the rapid growth in online orders, Hawesko required a warehouse solution that could expand capacity without disrupting ongoing operations.

Complex integration requirements

Hawesko sought a single, trusted partner capable of seamlessly integrating new automation technology into an established facility with minimal downtime.

The Solution

Unified control for automation

Infios Warehouse Management and Infios Unified Control System were deployed to synchronize human workflows with a flexible goods-to-person Geekplus AMR system, enabling automation within existing infrastructure.

Precision at scale

The AMRs, guided by Infios integration and pick-by-light technology, now mobilize over 130,000 bottles per shift and process an average of 800 goods per hour across just three workstations, achieving speed, accuracy and scalability in one seamless flow.

“With Infios, the project was put into practice within five months. The large warehouse was relieved, and the expansion area was in operation.”
