One order. Numerous moments where execution breaks.

In this story, your shopper is a sports fan with an important game coming up. Luckily, the team she supports just launched a new version of their official jersey, and she wants to order it immediately. The moment she places the order, a lot has to be true. Inventory has to be accurate. Warehouse capacity has to exist. Transportation has to be available. The delivery date has to be real, not hopeful.

SALES CHANNEL LAUNCH

A new sales channel needs to launch, but the technical teams are overloaded

The sports team has promoted the new jersey on TikTok. But one problem stands in the way of the jersey’s launch: the team isn't set up to sell on that channel yet. Setting up a new order workflow the old way means defining the rules, filling a request and waiting weeks for IT to configure and test it.

With Infios AI, the operator describes the new workflow in plain language as you would through a chatbot. The workflow prototype is then ready to be reviewed, adjusted and approved. No IT ticket needed. No development cycle.

The team’s TikTok shop is set up quickly and orders can start coming in.

Launch new fulfillment channels faster, without relying on IT for every change.

CANCELLATION PROCESSING

A fifth of last night's orders just got cancelled

The new jersey is now available for purchase, and it sells fast on TikTok. By morning, a fifth of the orders are already cancelled — some allocated, some partially fulfilled or invoiced. Now the commerce team must reconcile inventory, payments, fulfillment and carrier updates across systems, taking hours and increasing the risk of mistakes. One wrong cancellation could mean losing a good order.

Infios AI validates each order’s status and fulfillment state, cancels eligible orders, releases inventory and processes refunds. It sequences the downstream updates across OMS, WMS, TMS and shipping, and it routes the sensitive cases, the partial, already shipped or policy-bound orders, for human review with full context.

Process high-volume cancellations safely, without manually unwinding bulk orders.

CARRIER CHECK-IN

A dozen carriers have gone quiet, and one of those loads contains the shopper’s order

The shopper orders the jersey she needs for the upcoming game out of TikTok, paying extra for on-time delivery. The moment she clicks buy, a promise is made.

The team's factory starts shipping to its distribution centers (DCs); the shopper's jersey is inbound when the carrier's estimated time of arrival (ETA) updates go silent. Days out from the receiving window, 14 inbound loads are closing in with no confirmed ETA, creating a wall of red on the warehouse coordinator’s screen. Chasing updates takes hours, while delays ripple downstream.

Infios AI detects the missed status update or delay, contacts each driver directly — by call or email — captures the ETA and writes it straight into the TMS in real-time. Exceptions are surfaced only when human intervention is actually needed. The coordinator's screen turns green.

The shopper’s order ETA is confirmed and is expected to arrive on time.

Maintain shipment visibility when carriers stop communicating.

TRANSPORTATION ORDER ENTRY

Shipping orders are piling up, and the jersey isn't moving

The factory’s big shipment finally lands at the brand’s national DC, and now it's a race to get it out to stores and regional warehouses before demand cools. But transportation orders arrive in emails, PDFs, spreadsheets — every format imaginable. Each one must be read and entered manually into the transportation management system (TMS) before a carrier can be booked. Until then, nothing moves, including the shopper’s order.

Infios AI reads the order documents across all formats; it extracts and validates shipment details, flags exceptions for human review and creates or updates loads directly in the TMS. The moment the document arrives, the warehouse and order management systems see the inventory in transit.

The regional warehouse picking and packing the shopper’s order has the stock ready to be shipped. The paperwork flood never becomes a bottleneck.

Manage inbound orders at scale and keep order commitments on track.

ORDER STATUS INQUIRY

Customers want answers. No one can answer fast.

It’s game week, and the shopper wants to know where her order is. She had to ask the customer support team because she couldn’t check the status on her own. And she is not alone: “Where’s my order?” drives a huge share of contact center volume. However, most tracking tools only see carrier events after shipment, leaving support teams blind to earlier issues like holds and allocation blocks, where delays often start.

Infios AI answers in plain language, using real-time details across orders, warehouse and transportation, complete with any additional context needed. Whenever an order status shifts, shoppers are automatically notified without needing to check in themselves.

The support team informs the shopper that her order is in the correct warehouse and ready to be shipped in seconds. She is now confident they’ll receive the jersey on time.

Give customers accurate order status from placement through delivery.

PICK EXECUTION

The plan says pick, the shelf says otherwise and the truck is waiting

The shopper order releases, but the jersey isn’t where the warehouse management system (WMS) says it is. A manual search across inventory and replenishment screens pulls in a supervisor as the carrier cutoff approaches. Miss the truck, and the shopper’s order misses the on-time delivery window.

Infios AI runs that investigation instead. It checks the WMS order queue, inventory and associated tasks, finds the empty pick location and the pending put-away behind it, and recommends the fix for the operator to approve. A 20-minute investigation becomes a an exception resolved faster.

Because the discrepancy is caught rapidly, availability is corrected the shopper’s package makes the cutoff, preventing one exception from becoming multiple delays and missed promises. The truck leaves on time with her jersey.

Resolve inventory discrepancies faster without stalling orders.

SHIFT PERFORMANCE REVIEW

A warehouse shift keeps missing target, and nobody's had time to find out why

The shopper’s order almost slipped. Peak season brought new and temporary staff onto the floor, but limited training meant urgent put-aways weren’t prioritized. Pick bins stayed empty, blocking orders with inventory already in the building, such as the shopper’s jersey. The supervisor knows the shift is falling behind on order completions, but pinpointing why takes manual reports and days of analysis — too late to fix the next shift.

Infios AI analyzes labor and operational performance data, identifies coaching opportunities for each worker, including focus areas for the lowest performers and generates personalized coaching guidance for team leads. Feedback can be delivered in-shift or immediately after. Supervisors receive actionable scripts, not raw data.

Because the pattern is caught mid-shift, urgent put-aways get done, pick bins refill and her order isn’t stalled. The shift gets back on pace and the jersey make the expected carrier pickup.

Deliver consistent, personalized coaching without manual data analysis.
