Alan Duncan

Alan Duncan is Director, Solutions Delivery, EMEA at Infios. In this role, he works with customers to help them maximize the value of their supply chain technology investments and drive stronger business outcomes through transformation, delivery and practical execution expertise. His broad perspective is shaped by experience across industry, consulting and technology leadership.

Alan brings more than 30 years of experience working with organizations across manufacturing, retail, government, military and technology. Over the course of his career, he has led transformation programs across sectors including food and beverage, consumer goods, and industrial. He has held roles on the buyer, vendor and advisor sides of the technology lifecycle, including leadership positions at Blue Yonder and advisory work with Gartner and other consulting firms.

A frequent keynote speaker and advisor, Alan is known for his perspective on how change is managed in modern organizations. He believes change is no longer episodic but constant, and that companies need to rethink how they lead transformation in an environment where employees are informed, experienced and active participants in the process.

Alan lives in England with his partner and their dog. He has a first-class honors degree in Production Engineering & Management from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland, and a postgraduate diploma in Information Technology from Edinburgh Napier University in Scotland. In his spare time, when he’s not talking about supply chain, Alan enjoys playing tennis, watching rugby (he previously played), and is the reluctant producer and stage manager for his partner’s amateur theatre company.
